Lessons take place in the student’s home and are $55/hr. Package purchases (for new and existing customers) are discounted as follows:

Your experience with Red Turtle Music will be entirely driven by you. You’ll meet with a Red Turtle Music expert in the comfort of your own home, either in person on or web cam. You’ll choose the music that will be the centerpiece of each lesson, from your own collection of songs. When you’ve learned everything there is to know about music, you’ll have done so by looking behind the scenes of the music that matters to you.

Music lessons aren’t the only way that you can drive your own musical experience, with Red Turtle Music. We’re the only program that can offer you the opportunity, no matter what your age, to perform your favorite song, or an original composition in a real concert venue. We’re the only program that can offer you the opportunity to record a song and put it on iTunes, all without leaving your house. We can still just help you learn to play a few songs for the campfire . . . but once you get started, you’ll probably find that your interests run deeper than you thought.

Learning music shouldn’t be difficult. Working with a music company shouldn’t be either. So, we offer affordable rental instruments so you can test the waters without making a large initial investment. We offer package discounts to both new and existing customers so you can save money when you know you’re serious or when giving the Red Turtle Music experience as a gift.

Cancellation Policy: Customers must notify us of a cancellation or schedule change at least 48 hours before a scheduled lesson. If something comes up at the last minute and you need to cancel with less notice, you'll still have the option to reschedule that lesson at any available time before that of your next appointment. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice and cannot reschedule your lesson before your next appointment, that lesson will be deducted from your account as we are obligated to pay for the instructor's scheduled time.

Refund Policy: Customers may receive a full refund of unused lessons purchases. If a lesson did not meet customers’ needs or expectations, please do not hesitate to contact us. Your customer experience is our highest priority.

Privacy Policy: We will not sell or share any information we collect from our customers.

How to obtain lessons: After contacting us to determine the availability of instructors that meet your needs, you may purchase your lessons online and schedule lessons with your instructor at your convenience. If you would like to switch instructors, please call us so we may complete that process for you.

We believe that if you dream it, you should experience playing a rock concert! More than a lucky few should get the opportunity to get up on a real concert stage and play a song they love. This is what the Red Turtle Music Showcase is all about. We had such a good time last year that the showcase returns to Casselman’s Bar and Venue in Denver, CO on November 12, 2011. The concert will begin at 1pm! Please arrive at 12pm!

We’re inviting each of our students to choose (or write) a song they’d like to perform in concert. Our instructors and other guest performers will form a band of professional musicians who then learn and perform the songs with you/your child on the stage!!

Additionally, each performer will be invited to play in the show’s grand finale, a song that all students and instructors will play together! So, every performer will get to play at least two songs. Students may also perform additional songs based on availability of time.

Many that perform in the Red Turtle Music Showcase begin performing music on their own afterward. Some even organize their own concert events. They learn how to prepare for a show and how to put it on. The Red Turtle Music Showcase is for those that want to take their playing far beyond a campfire performance. If you want to push the boundaries of your music, participate in our next event!
